Axis offers Security for Churches. Protecting houses of worship is at the heart of Axis Protection and where our company was born. Because the mission of the church is to reach out to the hurting, addicted and lost while providing a safe, nurturing environment for all, security measures must be two-fold: friendly and welcoming, yet alert and proactive.

Church security is a delicate balance and your Armed Officers will not only be professional and discreet, they will be on the front line of defense with a smile and a handshake. Your officers will be out front “taking the temperature” of the crowd. Alert and watchful for anything out of place, your officer will look for backpacks, bags, large coats, out of season clothing, possible disguises and out of sorts behavior. Their mission is to stop any threat before it gets in the door.

With the rise in kidnapping, domestic disputes and custody issues, Axis Protection’s Officers are also an added layer of security in your children’s area. Uniformed Officers often discourage would-be kidnappers while our Plain Clothes security officers provide an added layer of protection to your smallest parishioners. Need more comprehensive background checks on staff and volunteers? Axis Protection would be happy to put our investigative research skills to work for you. Just ask! We’re happy to offer this added security measure for your protection upon your request.

We also work with local police departments and your staff to make a list of Persons of Interest – pictures and descriptions of people with less than good intentions who may find their way into your church. This includes registered sex offenders in your area.

At Axis Protection, we offer churches a full security assessment of all buildings, grounds, parking areas and recreational facilities. Lighting, camera placement, doors, locks and fences are all noted, and a custom protection plan is provided before our officers are put in place. Our goal is to mitigate any circumstance that might put your staff or congregation in harm’s way.

If you do not have a security system in place, Axis Protection would like to offer our time and expertise in helping by recommending security solutions to houses of worship.

When permitted, our team will conduct live training in your facility, bringing in off-duty and retired law enforcement officials, emergency medical responders, and former military personnel with the purpose of achieving the best results for mitigating security threats and medical issues. With training like this, your Axis Protection Officers are prepared to mitigate any scenario for a positive, peaceful outcome.

Special guests or big events? We’ve got you covered. With intimate knowledge of your facility, your Axis Protection Officers will help you put a full security plan in place during special events, conferences, or concerts. We understand and respect the “ministry first” atmosphere you and your team are building. Our officers are motivated to use discretion, friendliness, and attentiveness at all times.
An added benefit of having an Axis Protection Officer is their ability to arrive early, unlock all doors and do a walk-through of the facility for possible threats or problems before any staff or families arrive. A final walk-through will be done at the end of services. All doors will be locked, checked and the facility fully secured, and alarm set for maximum assurance. With Axis, there is no need to issue keys to dozens of volunteers, which also protects your assets after hours.
