Legalities
Axis Protection is fully licensed and insured by the state of Texas. All of our security officers – armed and unarmed – possess on the job training in addition to meeting state certification requirements. Our compliance office is highly proactive on the legalities and liabilities of our industry to protect you, our client. We assure all our officers have passed state-mandated tests and updates, and maintain valid, up-to-date licenses.

Compliance
The State of Texas has rigid guidelines for all levels of security and protection officers. Unlike most security companies, our compliance office is proactive in ensuring all officer licenses are active with no lapses. We verify all officers are following state regulations for uniform and identification. If they fail to follow state standards, they are replaced immediately until the behavior is mitigated.

We pride ourselves on being the most professional protection company in Texas. Our ethics from the top-down are of the highest caliber. We refuse to put your company at risk so we take compliance very seriously. All necessary background checks, fingerprints, licenses and fees are routinely examined to ensure ongoing compliance.

Self-Defense and Hand-to-Hand Combat Techniques
With a high percentage of former police and military on our Armed, Plain-Clothes and Executive Protection staff, each officer brings a unique and highly valuable set of skills to the table. Holds, take-downs, less-than-lethal weapons and martial arts are just a few of the self-defense methods they use to mitigate threats to your person or personnel. It is our goal to end all confrontations as peaceably as possible.

When you partner with Axis Protection, you not only get a battle-tested veteran protecting your assets, your site will have a thorough walk-through. Standard Operating Procedures for your specific needs will be written. Knowing the layout of your facility (doors, stairwells etc.) the placement of lights, cameras and sensors – as well as possible weak spots – gives tactical advantages should the need for self-defense, hand-to-hand combat or weapons usage arise.

For our Uniformed Officers, we provide site-specific training on self-defense, holds, take-downs and limited martial arts to be used in extreme and emergency situations only. Knowing when to call for help, keeping distance and proper cornering for best sight lines are key elements of avoiding a physical altercation. Preventative measures and defensive strategies are also best practices, and we provide ongoing instruction for all of our officers.

Firearms Trainer (Instructor Level)
Many of the Plain-Clothes and Executive-Level Officers at Axis Protection are Firearms Instructors. It’s crucial to both Axis Protection and our clients that all high-level officers are experts in defensive tactics with firearms. Your safety is our primary objective. Our officers are well-versed in concealment, safe storage and handling, and proper use of force.

Negotiation Tactics
The potential for workplace violence is increasing with the escalation of divorce and domestic violence transferring into the workplace. Add to this disgruntled employees, irate customers and intruders (armed or not), and you have a recipe for a heightened security incident.

Experienced in a variety of protection scenarios, our Armed Plain Clothes and Executive Level protection experts have trained/worked through high-stress situations with security risks such as heated confrontations, kidnapping, suicide and hostage situations and their appropriate de-escalation tactics. Our officers are trained to recognize potential threats and triggers for each situation.

Trained at the highest levels of government, our professional officers are experienced in de-escalation, negotiation and evacuation tactics to hopefully bring a peaceful conclusion to most volatile situations. Our team is provided personal, in-house training as well as third-party expert instruction and role-playing for a wide range of scenarios.

Personal Protection Techniques
Life is our most precious possession. Whether you need protection for your family, church or business leadership, corporate partners, or high-level guests and dignitaries, we have the tools and know-how to create secure environments for executive meetings, parties, concerts, conferences, conventions and sporting events.

Not only do we give you a customized security plan based on your location property, structures and the assets you’re protecting, we will work with you to provide the best plan of action for your lighting and cameras. We can even monitor your system and provide some basic maintenance such as replacing bulbs, batteries, etc. as deemed necessary to ensure security operations continue uninterrupted.

Your Axis Protection Officer will not only inspect your perimeter, entrances, exits and hot spots daily, they will perform regularly scheduled but randomized patrols that ensure criminals will not be able to predict our presence. Our officers have been trained to change direction, scope and time of patrols and use their flashlights to keep intruders guessing and less likely to attempt a break-in.

Expertise with Surveillance Equipment
Your Axis Protection Officer understands the workings of most security systems from standard to advanced. They can perform basic maintenance to keep you online and your system running smoothly.

Adept with cameras, our officers understand camera concealment, placement, and best angles for optimum exposure. You can rest assured knowing your Axis Protection Officer knows what to look for on your monitors to protect your hard-earned assets. You can be confident your cameras will provide valuable information including license plates, cars, faces, entrances, exits and high traffic areas. Our reporting system is second to none, so security reports will be easily accessed, understandable and filled with valuable information.
